Spirit of Life Recovery is about reaching hearts and transforming lives, one person at a time. We recognize the precious value of each and every human being that God created. When people end up in painful places, or wind up with out of control behaviors such as addiction, we can be assured that God has a better plan. First and foremost, we must come to Him so we can get to know Him and understand those plans. Then, we need His resources. This gives us the ability to live and become who God meant for us to be - something that is impossible in our own strength and efforts.  His transformation is Him working in us changing us into His likeness.  As we spend time with Him, we become like Him.      

As a person leaves the bondages of addiction - chemical, codependence, people pleasing, sexual, or behavioral addiction, they have the opportunity to see who God saw in them all along - a precious and valuable child with a God-given destiny, future and hope. Then, as children of God expecting freedom from bondage, we must be fearlessly honest with ourselves, God and others. We must commit to a lifestyle led and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We must attach ourselves to God with the same tenacity, and even more, then the negative ways we attached ourselves to the world and our flesh. We must be willing to get rid of sin.  In reality, we don't all of a sudden become sinless.  As we continue to walk hand-in-hand with Him on a daily basis, we begin to sin less ......  and less ........  and less.  It is progress towards His perfection!  

Spirit of Life Recovery is a spiritual community of people who have been rescued, redeemed and transformed in the name and power of Jesus Christ. It is a community that offers resources, direction and education about the biblical process of healing and restoration. This includes both our emotional pain and our behavioral strongholds.

We seek to equip brothers and sisters in Christ, as well as the church community as a whole, about the nature of addiction and genuine, true recovery that comes through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

And more than anything else, Spirit of Life Recovery offers a message of freedom.

• Freedom to not be bound by toxic chemicals and toxic emotions
• Freedom to make the right choices - not feeling "bound" to doing negative things that hurt us
• Freedom to be who God created us to be
